At a distance of 24 km from Port Blair, Wandoor Beach is located at Wandoor in South Andaman district of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. It is the gateway to the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. This is one of the popular places to visit in Andaman Tour and also one of the famous tourist places near Port Blair.

Wandoor Beach is a vast clean beach that overlooks the Jolly Buoy Island. Water is clean and the beach is rocky. The beach is famous for corals and the glass boats that take visitors to Jolly Buoy and Red Skin Island. With calm and clean blue waters, the beach offer soothing ambience to chill and spend quality time.

There are changing rooms and benches built for the convenience of the visitors. There are some small food stalls and couple of new resorts in Wandoor. These stalls or hotels operated by the locals, which offers different kind of foods.

Regular bus services are available from Port Blair to Wandoor, from where the tours are operated. It takes about 1.5 hours to reach Wandoor and fare is about Rs. 15 per person. The road journey to Wandoor is very scenic. The route after Garacharma is surrounded by lush green trees of coconuts and mangroves. There are many agricultural research farms of ICAR, situated between the villages of Dhani Khari and Sippighat along this route.
