At a distance of 4 kms from Nampally Railway Station, Shyam Mandir Temple is located at Kachiguda, about 1 Km from Kachiguda Railway Station. Shyam Mandir Temple is a new name for Veeranna Gutta.

The temple has great beauty and splendor; it is located on a small hillock. Originally, the temple had lord Hanuman as main shrine; however, later a temple for lord Shiva was built.
