At a distance of 3 km from Thekkady Bus Stand, the Green Park Ayurvedic & Spice Plantation is an ecological park situated in Kumily, Thekkady. It is one of the top places to visit in Thekkady, especially for nature lovers.

Set amidst the amazing landscape of Thekkady, the Green Park Ayurvedic & Spice Plantation was founded to grow medicinal herbs and spices and disseminate the knowledge of growing them with the help of advanced agricultural techniques. It offers a natural and calm environment which gives ample space for visitors to relax and rejuvenate their bodies and minds. The aroma and the environment of the place connect you to nature in a perfect way. One can also learn a lot about spice plantations and medicinal plants.

The park spreads over five acres and has a Spice Garden and an Organic Farm. The spice garden houses numerous spices, including the tiny orchids of cardamom, amorous coffee, cherries, juicy vanilla capsules, black pepper, etc. growing in the natural setting. The park is 100 percent eco-friendly and has a farm, honey bee colonies, a natural fish aquarium, an artificial paddy field, a suspension bridge, a cardamom processing unit, a fruit plantation, and a greenhouse for vegetables. Traditionally built tree houses in the park give an unbeatable experience to the tourists. Visitors can also buy fresh spices & herbs here.
