At a distance of 11.5 km from Alibaug and 13 km from Mandwa Beach, Kihim Beach is a beautiful beach situated at Kihim village on Mandwa - Alibag road in Raigad district of Maharashtra. Kihim Beach is one of the popular beaches on the Konkan coastline and also one of the top places to visit in Alibaug.

Kihim beach is one amongst the most popular Alibaug Beachs with a long stretch of clean sandy beach intermittent by rocky stretches. The beach has soft fine sand and is black in colour. The northern part of the beach is rocky and the southern part has a long stretch of sand.

The waters at Kihim are as inviting but those venturing to swim have to take caution of the rocks strewn across the beach. The Khanderi and Underi forts loom over the horizon from the Kihim shores and along with the rocky stretches offers one of the most beautiful views of the setting sun in this part of the Konkan beaches. Kihim also offers a rustic lifestyle along with a variety of seafood and typically Konkani cuisine.

A good way to relax at Kihim is to stay in a sea facing resort and observe the sight of colourful boats venturing out into the sea early morning for a daily catch of fish. The best time to visit Kihim is in the months of December to February when the weather is cool and pleasant. There are many accommodation facilities available in and around the beach.
