At a distance of 30 kms from Nampally Railway Station, Keesara Gutta is known for the famous Sri Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple. This is one of the popular pilgrimage sites to visit around Hyderabad.

The presiding deity of the Temple is Sri Ramalingeswara Swamy accompanied by Sri Bhavani and Sri Shiva Durga. The temple is recently renovated. Around this temple, there are a number of ruined shrines in the Gupta architecture of fifth century. There are scores of meter-high lingas the phallic symbol around the main deity. To Hindus, these lingas signify life and fertility. The base of these lingas is set in a base structure that signifies the womb.

A nice park is laid down recently at bottom of this temple.
