At a distance of 12 km from Kalpetta Bus Stand, and 44 km from Sulthan Bathery, Varambetta Mosque is a religious place situated in Varambetta village in the Wayanad District of Kerala. Situated near Banasura Sagar Dam, it is one of the oldest mosques in the district, and among the top places to visit as part of Wayanad - Coorg tour packages.

Also known as Varambetta Palli or Varambetta Jama Masjid, Varambetta Mosque is about 300 years old. It is one of the three most important Muslim religious centers in Wayanad, the other two being Maithani Palli and Kalpatta Town Juma Masjid. It was built in remembrance of a Sufi saint.

Varambetta Mosque is known for its architecture and traditional Islamic design. The mosque features a dome and minarets that are characteristic of mosque architecture. The exterior and interior of the mosque are adorned with intricate patterns and calligraphy, reflecting the rich Islamic heritage. The whole complex is neat and well-maintained. This place is open to all visitors regardless of caste, religion, or ethnicity.

The mosque conducts daily prayers, including the five obligatory prayers (Salah) as well as the Friday congregational prayer (Jumu'ah). The Friday prayer attracts a larger gathering of worshipers from the nearby areas. An annual festival is held in the mosque in March every year where people all over the Wayanad come and participate irrespective of their faith.
