At a distance of 9 km from Vythiri, 12 km from Kalpetta, and 37 km from Sulthan Bathery, Wayanad Tea Museum is a museum located on the Banasura Sagar Dam road at Achoor near Pozhuthana. It is the first tea museum in Wayanad and among the top Wayanad tourist places.

Also known as Achoor Tea Museum, the Wayanad Tea Museum was introduced by Harrison's Malayalam Ltd. The tea factory was built in 1911 with wooden and iron panels and has been converted into a museum by the Harrison management to develop a tea culture among youngsters & general public, imparting knowledge to students in schools and colleges, and providing a tea experience to tourists.

The Wayanad Tea Museum is a perfect place to learn the history of tea cultivation in Wayanad, along with knowledge of the different tea species grown here. The first floor of the three-story museum houses historical documents related to the Boston Tea Party Revolution in America and records of the company's 100-year legacy. Various tea verities were exhibited on the third floor.

Achoor Tea Factory is one of the largest tea factories in South India. Travelers have the opportunity to see the production of tea and buy the preferred tea powder from factory outlets. A tea-tasting facility has also been arranged for tourists. The tea gardens tour is an eye-feast for every traveler. An experienced guide will accompany you to introduce the activities of planting to plucking the tea. There is a chance to take photographs with plantation workers. Ward 80 dormitory, renovated bungalow accommodation, and hut stay are the other attractions of Achoor Tea Tourism. For those who like adventure tourism, zip lining and trekking are arranged.
