At a distance of 2 km from the Statue of Unity, and 8 km from Kevadiya Railway Station, the Helicopter Ride is another exciting activity at the Statue of Unity. It is one of the must-experience things to do in Kevadiya.

Gujarat has the world's tallest statue, the Statue of Unity. As a memorial to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the statue will not only remind every individual of our great nation's freedom struggle but will also inspire the people of our country to inculcate Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's visionary ideologies of unity, patriotism, inclusive growth, and good governance. It has an observation deck, and a ferry ride for visitors to admire the engineering marvel and the picturesque setting it is located in. Now there is another addition to the list of attractions that the Statue of Unity offers in the form of a helicopter ride.

Launched in 2018, the helicopter ride allows the visitors to get an aerial view of the Statue of Unity, the Sardar Sarovar Dam, the Narmada River, and the Satpura and Vindhya hills. The helicopter accommodates 5 to 7 people and gives you a ride of 10 minutes. There is no online booking for the helicopter ride so visitors have to buy the tickets on location only.
