At a distance of 18 Km from Wankaner, the Jadeshwar Mahadev Mandir is a Hindu temple located in the Jadeshwar village near Wankaner, Gujarat, India. It is one of the prominent temples to visit as part of the Wankaner pilgrimage packages.

Situated on Ratan Tekri Hill, the Jadeshwar Mahadev Mandir is devoted to Lord Shiva. This sacred site is centered on a naturally occurring (Swayambhu) Shiva Linga, locally referred to as 'Jadeshwar Dada'. Although the precise date of its construction remains uncertain, it is believed to have been established approximately 500 years ago. Local folklore and revenue documents indicate that the temple was constructed sometime between 1825 and 1830. Devotees hold the belief that the temple's presiding deity has the power to alleviate chronic headaches and various physical ailments.

The Jadeshwar Mahadev Temple is a revered location rich in mythological significance. Jam Rawal, the founder of Jamnagar, experienced an unbearable headache. Despite consulting various doctors and healers, his pain continued unabated. Eventually, he was advised to call upon the knowledgeable Brahmin Panju Bhattji for assistance, with the suggestion that a solution might be found. As a result, Panju Bhatt was summoned to Jamnagar, where he learned of the king's suffering. After reviewing Jam Rawal's horoscope, Panju Bhatt indicated that approximately 25-30 gaus to the east, there was a notable hill within the forest, crowned by an Arani tree. He explained that the tree's movement in the breeze was the source of the king's headache, and that if it were to stop, the pain would also diminish. Panju Bhattji then offered a remedy: to cut down the tree to prevent any disturbance to the king's skull, which was buried beneath it from a previous life. The area was excavated, and the Brahmins retrieved the skull. They placed it in a box, padded with cotton wool for safety. Following this, Jam Rawal's headache was relieved. He then visited the forest and constructed a shrine to Mahadev at the base of the Arani tree, thus leading to the name Jadeshwar.

The temple is constructed in the Nagara architectural style, featuring intricate Maru-Gurjara carvings and embellishments. The main shikhara rises above the sanctum sanctorum that contains the swayamhu lingam. The temple is decorated with exquisite floral designs and stone sculptures. It is enveloped by lush greenery, providing a tranquil environment. The temple is located near Vadsar Lake, which is also part of the historical and spiritual landscape.

On the occasion of Shravan Poornima and Raksha Bandhan, a significant number of Shiva devotees gathered from early morning to seek darshan of Mahadevji.
