At a distance of 6 km from Asirgarh Fort, and 25 km from Burhanpur, Moti Mahal is an ancient structure located in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh. Situated near Asirgarh Fort, it is one of the must-visit places as part of Burhanpur holiday packages.

Moti Mahal is located on the bank of Pondhari river to the south-east of village Moti Mahal. This beautiful two-storeyed monument was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Moti Begum. The architecture of the palace represents an amalgamation of Mughal-Rajput styles. The lower portion of the palace was made of stones while the second story was made of bricks and lime with a flight of steps to reach there.

There are four large rooms with balconies on the first floor of the building. Two huge domes on top of two rooms gave it the shape of a mahal. Chhajjas are built-in north-south portion on the second storey. There is a courtyard in the center with rooms built on both sides. One of the lawns has the grave of Shahjehan's lover Moti Begum. Due to environmental factors, many portions of the palace had been badly damaged especially wall plaster and flooring. To arrest further damage or deterioration the department took up a restoration drive. Moti Mahal can be visited along with Asirgarh fort and is located around 3.5 Km away from the highway on the other side of the Asirgarh fort.
