At a distance of 2 km from Burj Al Arab and 25 km from Dubai International Airport, Jumeirah Beach is a public beach in Dubai. Stretched along the coast of the Persian Gulf, this sandy white strip of sand is among the top beach destinations for the visitors of Dubai.
Jumeirah Beach is a white sand beach that is located and named after the Jumeirah district of Dubai. It stretches along the coast south of the Al Fahidi historic district to the junction with The Palm Jumeirah and terminates between the southern end of the Jumeirah Beach Residence (adjacent to the Dubai Marina district) and the port facilities at Jebel Ali. Sun-seekers come to this lively shoreline to revel in Dubai's bright rays, while water sports enthusiasts take advantage of the calm, turquoise waters of the Persian Gulf.
The Jumeirah Beach is lined with exotic luxury hotels, restaurants, clubs and other recreation points. The famous Burj Al Arab (Arab Tower) hotel, Wild Wadi Water Park, Jumeirah Beach Hotel is all along Jumeirah Beach. There are also more than 12 hectares of parks and gardens along with it, which are ideal places for picnics and playing outdoor games like golf, volleyball, etc. In addition, there is a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way.
It is a great spot to see the marvelous architectural design and development that has been made along this beach. For adventure buffs, there is the facility for various watersports like jet skiing, kite surfing and more. For a quiet day at the beach, visitors can rent sun loungers too. Jumeirah beach has a special day for Ladies and children. Monday has been allocated for only children and women. From 7:30 am till 5:30 pm, the beach is open only to these two categories of people.
