At a distance of 8 Km from Surat Railway Station, Ambika Niketan Temple is Hindu temple located on the Dumas Road in Surat, Gujarat. Situated on the banks of River Tapi, it is one of the popular temples to visit as part of the Surat leisure tours.

Ambika Niketan Temple was established in 1969 by the late Mrs. Bharti Maiya, a devoted follower of Maa Ambika. This temple is dedicated to the Mother Goddess, represented as Goddess Ashtabhuja Ambika, a manifestation of Goddess Parvati. It attracts visitors not only from Gujarat but from across the nation and abroad. It has become the second most significant center for Shakti Puja, following Aarasur Ambaji.

The temple is a simple yet elegant two-story structure, featuring a main shrine that is encircled by a spacious courtyard. On the first floor, one can observe the idol of Goddess Ambika, depicted with eight arms, gracefully adorned in a beautiful sari, smiling gently to bless all her devotees. Additionally, visitors can find the idol of Shrimati Bharti Maiya on the ground floor of the temple. The temple complex also houses shrines dedicated to other deities, including Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, Lord Lakshman, Lord Hanuman, and Lord Shiva.

Numerous worshippers frequent this pilgrimage site throughout the year; however, it is particularly crowded during the Hindu festival of Navratri. The celebrations during Navratri are held with immense enthusiasm. The atmosphere is filled with a divine essence, resonating with the chants and hymns that fill the air.
