Strawberry Valley - History, Timings & Entry Fee

At a distance of 4 km from Gulmarg Bus Station, Strawberry Valley is a beautiful hidden gem located in Gulmarg. Situated on the way to Gulmarg Biosphere Reserve, it is considered
among the top tourist attractions in Gulmarg.

With clear blue skies, verdant green meadows, and budding red strawberries, Strawberry Valley is a sight straight out of a picture book and one would certainly not miss during the Gulmarg tour. Summer is the ideal time to visit as the strawberries are ripe and ready to be harvested. Covered in pristine elegance, with clear blue skies overhead, a visit to Strawberry Valley is an enthralling experience.

Tourists are allowed to take a walk amidst rows of verdant plantations. Apart from feasting your eyes on these red berries nearly bursting with juice, one can also taste some fresh strawberries and maybe carry some back home with you. You can also have a small picnic under the shade of a nearby tree here. The sheer charisma and vibrancy of this place made it one of the most popular Bollywood shooting locations of the yesteryears.

One can hike to the valley if you are putting up somewhere close by or maybe take a horseback ride. Alternatively, you can hire a private cab to reach the valley.
