The Barapole River is a turbulent river that originates from the Kithu Kakathu River further extending to Brahmagiri hills to the Arabian Sea. This stretch of river has more than nine Class 2‑Class 4 rapids. The rapids have some fascinating names like Morning Coffee, Grass Hopper, Ramba Samba, Wicked Witch and Big Bang.
