At a distance of 4 km from Yercaud Bus Stand and 3 km from Shevaroy Temple, Sri Raja Rajeswari Temple is located in a scenic valley on the way to Shevaroy Temple in Yercaud. This is one of the popular temples in Yercaud and also one of the best pilgrimage places to visit in Yercaud.

This temple is dedicated to Goddess Raja Rajeswari, a form of Goddess Shakti. This temple was established in the year 1983, by Tirukovilur Thapovanam Srila Sri Gnananada Giri Swami Parampara, follower of Swami Poornanda Giri. The temple is currently managed by V Sri, son of the founder.

The massive Raja Rajeswari idol is to be found in a sitting posture, and it is 4.5 feet tall. The deity of this temple is said to be the goddess of all gods in the Hindu Pantheon. The idol of the main goddess is encircled by the idols of other Hindu Gods such as Rudra, Vishnu, Lakshmi, Brahma and Saraswathi. It is believed that by worshipping the goddess in the shrine, one can attain wealth and prosperity along with spirituality.
