At a distance of 16 km from Yercaud Bus Stand, White Elephant Tooth Rocks are two white rocks located near Yercaud in Salem district of Tamil Nadu. The spectacular rocks are believed to be the leftovers of a meteorite fallen to the earth centuries ago. Unlike the black granite seen in this hillside, the rocks are purely white in color and look charming.

The bigger rock is located on the southern part of Shevaroy hill side near Gundur and the other one is in the east overlooking the Ghat road, above the 60 feet bridge. The larger one next to Gundur has two rocks about 120 feet high and consists of pure white quartz. These are visible from Tipperary Viewpoint. Easy to climb up but hard to climb down as the material is soft and crumbles beneath your feet.

The bigger rock can be reached by trekking from near road point close to Gundur village which would take about 2 hours to visit and from there another 1 hour to the ghat road, from which one could catch a bus to Yercaud or Salem. The Smaller one can be reached from 60 feet bridge from Tipperary Estate which would take about 1-2 hours' time.
