At a distance of 2 km from Ajman Bus Station, the Ajman Corniche is a four-kilometre-long esplanade overlooking the Arabian Gulf in the city of Ajman. It is one of the famous places to visit in Ajman.

Situated along the northwestern shore of the emirate, the Corniche road or the Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Street is lined with cafes and restaurants. It stretches from the roundabout just after Coral Beach Resort Sharjah to the five-star Kempinski Hotel Ajman. In 2014, the local authorities of Ajman decided to redesign the corniche to create more public spaces and facilities such as a bike path and jogging track for local residents. As part of the redevelopment, they decided to upgrade the lighting of 4 km esplanade as they wanted a more sustainable solution that would reduce the city's energy consumption and environmental footprint.

Ajman's beautiful coastline is best enjoyed with a stroll along the Corniche, where families come to promenade and picnic on the beach. Much of the emirate's social activities and events are centred on this area. The area really comes to life during the evening and on weekends. On a sunny day, tourists bask and swim in authorised areas of the beach, which is safeguarded by the rescue unit and coastal guards of Ajman Civil Defence. On weekends, expatriates and locals from Ajman and neighbouring emirates unwind in the Corniche, and children feast on sumptuous meals at the restaurants and eateries near the beach.
