At a distance of 2 km from Ayodhya Junction, Tulsi Udyan is a garden situated on Ayodhya-Faizabad road. It is one of the popular places to visit during your Ayodhya Trip.

Tulsi Udyan was set up as a memorial to a great saint-poet Tulsi Das, the devotee and the creator of the Epic Ramcharitmanas. The garden is situated near the Ayodhya Bus Stand on the National Highway passing through Faizabad, a part of the Ayodhya region. The garden is currently under the management of the Udyan Vibhag, Government of Uttar Pradesh.

This garden was earlier referred to as the Victoria Park after the name of Queen Victoria of England and had an idol of Queen Victoria at its center. Later it was named Tulsi Udyan after Goswami Tulsidas in 1960. The statue of Tulsi Das has additionally been set up beneath a superbly carved canopy within the garden. It has a calm and serene ambiance which helps a person relax and have a peaceful time. Tourists often take a walk in Tulsi Udyan as it has become an integral part of sightseeing in Ayodhya.
