At a distance of 3 km from Library Bus Stand, Camel's Back Road is a 3 km long stretch from Kulri bazaar to the Library Chowk in Mussoorie. It is one of the top tourist places to visit in Mussoorie town. The road takes its name from the rock which is shaped like a camel's hump on its back.
Camel's Back Road was built in 1845 to provide a walking track with a breathtaking view of the Himalayas. This road has an ancient Hawa ghar where people can sit and view the mighty peaks. This Hawa ghar was earlier known as Scandal Point. Telescopes are available here for those wanting a closer look of the Himalayan peaks. There are many stories about this road. One is that while a British couple was riding on horses, suddenly, the girl's horse jumped into the hills. When the man saw this, he also jumped down and they both died. This point was called Lover's Leap.

At a distance of 3 km from Library Bus Stand, The Mall is main shopping area situated at the center of Mussoorie. The Mall road connects two major bazaars, Kulri and Library.
The Mall Road was built by the British residents and is dotted with benches and lampposts lined up at the sides of roads. The prime attractions of the area include 1980s style video game parlours, Methodist Church and skating rings. Alongside the Mall is the tourist office, rows of Tibetan trinket and several shops selling wooden artifacts. Shopping in Mall Road is one of the top things to do in Mussoorie.
Mall Road is the starting point for the cable car towards the summit of Gun Hill, 2142 m above sea level. On clear days, the peaks of Kedarnath, Badrinath and Nanda Devi can be seen from this area. Visitors can also enjoy horse riding here. There is also a playground for children offering many games and rides.
DAY 2 : MUSSOORIE SIGHTSEEING

At a distance of 5.5 km from Mussoorie Library Bus Stand, Lal Tibba is the highest point in Mussoorie situated in Landour area. It is located at an altitude of 2275 m. This place offers scenic views of sunrise and sunset and is one of the best places to visit in Mussoorie.
Lal Tibba (or Red Hill) was also referred as a Depot Hill owing to the presence of a depot, also houses a camp of the Indian Military Services, towers of Doordarshan and All India Radio. In 1967, a telescope was placed at the tower on a cliff by municipality to offer scenic views of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Banderpunch, and other Himalayan ranges.
There are several buildings constructed during colonial period here. Childer's Lodge is one such building and it offers some stunning views of the hills and the valley. There is an old market area called the sister bazaar where one can buy local goods.

At a distance of 5 km from Library Bus Stand, Hathipoan is one of the tourist hotspots situated on the way to Cloud's End.
Hathipoan attracts nature lovers and adventure seekers. It is located at the summit of a hill amid peaceful and serene village known as Saskhet. It's a thickly wooded area that offers breathtaking and heavenly views of Himalayas. It is also a hotspot for adventure seekers for a number of activities organized at camps like Raincoat camp and Northern Adventure Camp.
The road leading to Hathipaon is rough and bumpy. Travelers can also walk from Happy Valley in order to reach the Hathipaon.

At a distance of 3.5 km from Mussoorie Library Bus Stand, Company Bagh, also known as Municipal Garden, is situated in Happy Valley area near Lal Bahadur Shastri National Administration Academy in Mussoorie. It is a popular place of sightseeing in Mussoorie. The park is maintained by the Garden Welfare Association of Mussoorie.
Company Garden is a major picnic location in Mussoorie. It was previously known as Botanical Gardens of Mussoorie. Famous geologist, Dr. H. Fackner, laid this garden in early 20th century.
The garden has a lush green carpet of lawns and a fountain, which is located in its center. It has nearly 800 different types of flowers, including Dahlias, Begonia, Pansy and Petunia. The garden has a nursery, which offers a wide range of plants for sale.

At a distance of 6 km from Rishikesh Railway Station, Tera Manzil Temple is a major landmark and a multi-storey temple located on the banks of river Ganga near Lakshman Jhula in Rishikesh. This temple is also known as Kailash Niketan Temple and is one of the most significant places of worship in Rishikesh. It is believed that this ancient temple is established by Adi Shankaracharya in the 9th century AD.
The temple is famous for its huge and beautiful architecture. It is a 13 floor structure and each floor has many small temples dedicated to many Hindu gods and goddesses.
