At a distance of 3 km from Library Bus Stand, The Mall is main shopping area situated at the center of Mussoorie. The Mall road connects two major bazaars, Kulri and Library.
The Mall Road was built by the British residents and is dotted with benches and lampposts lined up at the sides of roads. The prime attractions of the area include 1980s style video game parlours, Methodist Church and skating rings. Mall Road is the starting point for the cable car towards the summit of Gun Hill, 2142 m above sea level. On clear days, the peaks of Kedarnath, Badrinath and Nanda Devi can be seen from this area. Visitors can also enjoy horse riding here. There is also a playground for children offering many games and rides.
