Kayaking in Dandeli is mostly conducted in Supa Reservoir or River Kali. Dandeli is the only place in south India where one can attempt to learn kayaking to advanced levels. It is one of the main Dandeli activities.

Kayaking is an activity with the use of a kayak for moving across water. Participate in this activity and enjoy an enriching and rewarding time paddling across waters. Personnel specialized in kayaking shall guide the participants through the white water while they start advancing at their own pace.

Kayaking can be done in vast expanses of still waters or in rapids, the latter being more challenging. For this one must be a strong swimmer and have sufficient kayaking experience. Before kayaking in the Supa Dam region, instructors and guides give visitors a demo. They provide introductory sessions on the basic techniques about strokes, basic control and the balance of the kayak.
