At a distance of 20 km from Yellapur, 66 km from Sirsi, 78 km from Dandeli, 114 km from Karwar and 113 km from Gokarna, Sathodi Falls is a picturesque waterfall situated near Kallaramarane Ghat in Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka.

Sathodi Falls are formed by several streams and cascades down from a height of 50 feet. It further joins the backwaters of Kodasalli dam built over Kali River. This is popularly known as the Mini Niagara and also one of the top places to visit in Dandeli. This falls forms a part of the Ganeshgudi forest range. The fall drops into natural pool that surround the rock and swimming is possible here. It is advisable to avoid this place during peak monsoon season. It is home to leeches which are very active in rainy season.

Sathodi is 20 km drive through the forests from Yellapur town. From Yellapur, visitors need to take highway towards Hubli and then turn left towards Ganeshgudi (immediately after the petrol bunk). The road to Sathodi Falls is in bad condition and gets worse in peak monsoons. From Ganeshgudi, the falls is around 10 km. Only high ground clearance vehicles are suitable to drive on this route. The last half km from entry gate has to be walked down. Also, to reach the place one can take a bus up to Barballi and from there it is a long trek of about 10 km.

The best time to visit Sathodi waterfall is from November to April.

Entry fee: Rs. 5 per person.
