At a distance of 1 km from Pachmarhi Bus Station, Christ Church is a religious place located in Pachmarhi. Also called the Protestant Church of Pachmarhi, it is one of the best places to visit in Pachmarhi.

Standing tall amidst tall trees and greenery, the Christ Church is an ancient church built by the British in the year 1875. The architectural style of this church is a mix of European styles with elements of Irish, French, and British architectural styles. The church is popular for its unsupported Nave construction, architecture, and many pieces of stained-glass art that adorn the windows. The glass panes on the wall and the main altar were imported from Belgium. The highlight of the church is the circular dome whose radiating ribs end in the sculpted faces of angels.

The Gothic style would strike your fancy instantly, and exploring further you'd come across more interesting stories around the church. Said to be built without even a single supporting pillar, the church has stood all tests of times and is a marvel worth visiting. Since there are not many Catholic families residing around or in Pachmarhi, this church only opens on Sunday morning for prayer and mass.
