At a distance of 5 km from Pachmarhi Bus Station, Reechgarh is a natural cavern located in Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh. Situated near Duchess Falls, it is one of the popular tourist attractions in Pachmarhi.

Reechgarh is a huge cave that has an opening at both ends. This ridge between two rocks is broader at the bottom and sticks as you look at the top of these rocks. The rift is about 400 meters long and the path is treacherous, uneven, and quite bottleneck in between. It is believed that the cave is earlier inhabited by the sloth bears (reech in Hindi), hence the name.

To enter this place, one has to scramble amidst the boulders. And to get out of the other end, one has to cross a narrow canyon from where a stream must have passed through. The adventure in passing through a rift by adjusting your body direction which opens to a landscape into the woods is what you get at Reechgarh. The most mesmerizing factor is the cool breeze that blows in the passage.
