At a distance of 46 Km from Malvan, Vengurla Beach is a beautiful beach situated at Vengurla town in Maharashtra. It is one of the scenic beaches in Konkan Coast, and among the must-include places in the Malvan leisure packages.

Vengurla Beach spans a length of 5 kilometers and includes Navabag Beach, Sagareshwar Beach, Ubhadanda Beach, and Muth Beaches. This stunning beach, which is frequented by only a few, provides a tranquil environment surrounded by hills adorned with palm, coconut, cashew, and mango trees that line a portion of the extensive golden shoreline. It stands out as one of the rare unspoiled and less commercialized beaches in Maharashtra. The expansive stretch of powdery white sand and the foamy electric blue waters of the sea create a paradise for photographers.

Vengurla Beach is celebrated for its cleanliness, serene ambiance, and distinctive natural beauty. Sagareshwar Beach features the charming and historic Sagareshwar temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Constructed from stone, this magnificent temple is gently caressed by the waves of the sea at its base. The beach is well-known for its white sands and rich aquatic life. While the beach is generally safe, certain areas have a steep incline, so swimmers and children should exercise caution. It offers breathtaking sunset views and serves as an excellent location for watching fishing boats. With very few food stalls or commercial activities present, it is ideal for a peaceful picnic.

In the distance, one can spot the lighthouse perched on a lush hill. The Vengurla Point lighthouse was established in 1869, originally utilizing a vegetable oil lamp and a 200 mm optic mounted on a teakwood pole. Subsequently, in 1968, the current stone masonry tower was constructed atop the hill. This tower stands 14 meters tall and rises 82 meters above sea level. It remains operational, ensuring safe navigation for vessels. A staircase leads to the top of the lighthouse, offering a panoramic view of the expansive Arabian Sea and the surrounding hills. It is an ideal location to enjoy quality time with family and friends.
