All Saints Cathedral - History, Timings & Entry Fee

At a distance of 2 km from Shillong Bus Stand, All Saints Cathedral is an ancient church located near Police Bazaar in Shillong. Situated opposite to State Central Library, it is one of the oldest churches of Shillong and among the best places to visit in Shillong.

The church was originally built in 1877 during the British Raj and was completely damaged in the year 1897 due to an earthquake. Later, a new church was constructed in 1902. Being the main church of the Shillong, this church is the perfect place to spend some peaceful time along with the Lord's blessings.

Built in colonial style of architecture, this church has a beautiful wooden structure and a few stained glass paintings. Daily religious masses are organised at the church, amongst which the morning mass on Sundays is attended by a large number of people.
