At a distance of 3 km from Waghai and 49 km from Saputara Bus Station, Waghai Botanical Garden is a Government managed garden and biodiversity conservation center located at Waghai near Saputara, Gujarat. Situated in Waghai-Saputara Road, it is one of the beautiful gardens in Waghai and among the popular tourist places to visit near Saputara.

Established in 1966, Waghai Botanical Garden sprawls over an area of 24 hectares. The Garden is divided into several plots representing different forest types such as Arid Zone Plot, Cacti & Succulent Plot, Dangs Plot, Bamboo Plot, Dry Deciduous Plot, Evergreen Plot, Moist Deciduous, Scrub & Thorn Plot, Taxonomy Plot, Medicinal Plot, Orchid Plot and PragVad etc. It houses more than 1400 species of Indian flora in its different plots, which include several endemic and exotic plants collected from all over the country. All the plants are equipped with detailed descriptor plate.

The highlight of this garden is an extensive bamboo plantation that consists of many rare varieties such as Chinese Bamboo, Beer Bottle Bamboo and Golden Bamboo. Also, one can spot different types of cactuses and other succulent plants. Attracting more than one lakh tourists each year, the Garden is equipped with an interpretation center, a library, a research and demonstration center, a meeting hall, a canteen and a rest house. Besides, several nature education trails are organised from this botanical garden to the Vansda National Park and vice versa.
