At a distance of 2.5 km from Indore Junction, Kamla Nehru Prani Sangrahalaya is a zoological garden situated near Central Museum in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Popularly known as Indore Zoo, it is one of the largest and oldest zoological gardens in Madhya Pradesh, and among the must-visit Indore tourist places.

Kamla Nehru Prani Sangrahlaya is one of the recognized zoos under the Central Zoo Authority and is maintained by the Municipal Corporation, Indore. Indore zoo was established in 1974 at Navlakha area in only 17 acres of land, and in 1999 adjoining 32 acres land of Quadibag was acquired by the zoo. The present area of Indore zoo is 51.975 acres. Indore zoo is the only zoo to deploy online booking, animal-health app, and touchless entry system that is tightly integrated with e-Nagarpalika, making it the most advanced zoo in India.

The zoo has different varieties of animals and birds which have been brought from different parts of the world. The zoo's attempts to breed white tigers, royal Bengal tigers, Himalayan bears, and white peacocks have been successful. Indore zoo is also a center for reproduction, protection, and exhibition of animals, plants, and their habitats. One can see animals like Indian elephants, Hippopotamus, Blackbuck, Nilgai, Spotted Deer, Sambar Deer, Chinkara, Asiatic Lion, Indian Leopard, Indian Wolf, Jackal, Indian Fox, and Striped Hyena at the zoo. The zoo is home to a variety of birds like Peacock, White Peacock, Sarus Crane, Lady Amherst's pheasant, Egyptian Vulture, various species of Lovebird, Emu, Ostrich, Barn Owl, Turkey, Duck, Guinea Fowl, Rosy Pelican, Various species of Parakeet, Painted Stork, Black swan, and Mute Swan. Indore Zoo also houses Mugger and Gharial crocodile which are native to the Indian Subcontinent.

The zoo also provides animal rides like Elephant Rides, Camel Rides, Pony Rides, and horse cart riding. These rides can be hired for roaming in the whole zoo also. Besides, Zoo authorities organize various activities and events like Photo exhibitions, Dance competitions, fancy dress competitions, drawing competitions, canvas competitions, stage drama competitions, and golden book of world record competitions. They also organize magic shows, snake shows, quiz shows along with many cultural activities to attract young citizens of the city.
