Mohadi Waterfall - History, Timings & Entry Fee

At a distance of 4 km from Tincha Waterfall, and 28 km from Indore, Mohadi Falls is a picturesque waterfall located at Berchha near Indore, Madhya Pradesh. It is one of the beautiful waterfalls near Indore, and among the scenic places to visit as part of Indore sightseeing packages.

Located on the Indore-Khandwa road, Mohadi Falls offers a breathtaking sight of water falling from a height of about 250 feet amid a verdant valley. One can easily visit the falls on a one or even a half-day trip from Indore. The location of this divine waterfall also makes for an exemplary trekking route for adventure junkies. Though the trek looks fun, it is advisable to take necessary precautions. You must not hike through grassy roads, as they are often slippery and filled with water. Visitors can walk around the waterfall reaching close to the flowing water. However, do not try to cross the river as it is not safe.

To reach this place you have to go to Tinchafall via Khandwa road or the Ralamandal route. This place is 4 km from Tincha Falls. With the pleasant breeze and smooth roads, the ride to Mohadi waterfall is quick and easy. However, when the highway ends, there is no direct road to Mohadi. Travellers have to park their vehicles (car and motorbikes) and walk a kilometer to reach the fall.

The best time to visit this pristine waterfall is during the months of July to October when the water levels rise and this majestic fall is seen gushing rhythmically. Better to carry home-cooked packaged food, and bottled water as there are no restaurants or outlets near Mohadi waterfall.
