At a distance of 8 km from Jabalpur Junction, Kachnar Shiva Statue is a giant Shiva statue located in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Situated in Kachnar City, it is one of the biggest Shiva statues in India, and among the must include places in Jabalpur sightseeing packages.

The charismatic idol of Lord Shiva is nestled in the Kachnar city and is reckoned among the most sacred tourist spots in Jabalpur. The statue is about 76 feet tall and is truly a sight to behold. Built by Arun Tiwari, the construction of the statue began in the year 2001 and was made available to the general public in the year 2006. The statue is built under the open sky on the cavern which has the replicas of the 12 Jyotirlingas and these 12 Lingam has been collected from various shrines of Lord Shiva throughout the country.

The statue of Nandi, the sacred vehicle of Lord Shiva has been constructed right in front of Lord Shiva's statue. The jet water from the dreadlocks on Lord Shiva's statue attracts a lot of visitors. The temple also consists of the idols of Lord Ganesha and Shaptarishi which charms visitors. With lush green surroundings and well-maintained premises, you not just soak yourself in divinity but you literally feel the spiritual aura.

The regular 'Aartis' conducted in the temple makes it the most famous temple in Jabalpur. The mesmerizing aarti will give you goosebumps as the atmosphere reverberates with the melodious tunes worshipping Lord Shiva and a sense of positivity is spread around. Maha Shivratri and Makar Sakranti are the two most special and auspicious festivals which are celebrated in great pomp and glory.
