At a distance of 21 km from Jabalpur, the Marble Rocks is a natural site along the Narmada River in Bhedaghat near the city of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. It is one of the scenic natural places to visit in Madhya Pradesh, and among the most popular places to visit in Jabalpur.

The Marble Rocks is a gorge along the Narmada River's 1,077 km path through Madhya Pradesh and is one of the most spectacular natural sites in India. The marble rocks at Bhedaghat rise to a height of 100 feet and spread across 25 km. These marbles stones reflect sunlight and cast shadows on the pristine water of Narmada, creating a serene and spellbinding environment. Much like magnesium limestone rocks, these marble rocks cast different colours in different lights and look especially beautiful in the moonlight.

A boat ride to Marble Rocks from Panchvati ghat on the Narmada River is an experience one cannot forget as you get to sail between the beautiful marble rocks that stand tall on either side of River Narmada. You will find the lustrous rocks changing their shapes even as you look at them in awe. What's more enchanting is rowing along the river with silence filling your ears as your eyes take in the moonshine on the marble rocks is a lifetime experience, which you cannot afford to miss.

Besides, there are a couple of points around the canyon that should not be missed, like Bandar Kudni. Earlier, this gorge was not very deep and had monkeys jumping from one rock to another, thus earning the name, Bandar Kudni. The site also holds archaeological importance as excavations have found shells of dinosaur eggs at some of the ghats.
