Located at a distance of 190 Kms from Coimbatore, 235 Kms from Bangalore and 340 Kms from Chennai & 30 Kms from Salem, Yercaud is a Hill Station at an altitude of 1515 metres (4920 feet) in Shevaroy Hills region.
- Yercaud lake with well maintained garden offers boating facility.
- At a height of 5326 feet, the cave temple of Servarayan temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu is also a good view point (4 Kms from lake).
- Lady's Seat & Gent's Seat are good view points overlooking the beauty of Shevaroy Hills (3 Kms from lake)
- Bear's Cave, located near Norton Bungalow, this cave is a private property but the tourists are allowed inside
- Pagoda Point has huge stone structures in the form of Pyramids, now a massive temple (3 Kms from lake)
- Kiliyur Falls, fall from 300 feet into the Kiliyur Valley. The best time to visit this place is immediately after the monsoons. This is bit difficult trek (3 kms away from lake)
Yercaud can be reachable by Bus from Salem.
