At a distance 61 km from Port Blair, 6.5 km from Havelock Ferry Ghat and 13 km from Radhanagar Beach, Kalapathar Beach is a deserted beach situated on one corner of Havelock Island in Andamans.

Kalapathar Beach is one of the popular beaches of Havelock Island. The beach gets its name from the surrounding village, which is Kalapathar Village and the black rocks that adorn the coastline here. The beach is small but the way to beach is very good. The beach is not recommended to swim because of the rocks at the beach. One can get the mesmerizing views of sunset at this beach. As the beach is not so crowded, couples can enjoy a romantic walk and families can spend some peaceful moments.

One can reach Kalapathar Beach by hiring an auto or rent a bike / bicycle from Havelock Jetty. It takes about 30 minutes to reach Kalapathar.
