At a distance of 14 km from Munnar Bus Station, Chengulam or Sengulam Dam is an artificial dam located in Munnar, Kerala. It is one of the mesmerizing places to visit in Munnar.

Chengulam Dam Munnar is the latest dam site area and is part of the Chengulam Hydroelectric Project under the administration of the Government of Kerala. Surrounded by Letchmi hills on the north, Chokramudi peak on the east and the valley of Vellathooval and Adimaly Panchayat and Pettumudi peaks on the South- West, one can a get a spectacular 360-degree view from the lakeside.

The dam site also offers visitors the chance to indulge in boating around the lake in pedal boats, speed boats pontoon boats and large boats. The speed boat ride is one of the best attractions and activities here. There is a Games Corner, Fish Spa and a small park by the side of the dam where you can spend some time with family and friends. During summer months occasionally fishing is also allowed. One can also go for cycling on the less crowded roads to the nearby villages.
