At a distance of 1.5 km from Ooty Lake, and 3 km from Ooty Railway Station, Karnataka Siri Horticulture Garden is an inter-state garden located at Fern Hill in Ooty. It is the second-largest garden in the hill station of Ooty, and among the must include places in Ooty tour packages.

Karnataka Siri Horticulture Garden (KSHG) was developed by the horticulture department of Karnataka to pave the way for inter-state co-operation through tourism. Spread across 38 acres, the garden was established on land which was once the property of the erstwhile Mysore kingdom and gifted to the Karnataka government by the Maharaja in 1964. The garden was inaugurated in the year 2018 and is relatively a new tourist attraction in Ooty.

Spread amidst slopes, and valleys, Topiary Garden, lawns, flower beds, Italian Garden, Maze Garden, Rose Garden, Sunken Garden, check dams, and Tea Garden are the main features of this garden. The Maze garden is an outdoor labyrinth in which hedge walls are made up of Cyprus plants that are shaped to perfection to divide into passages. The Maze garden culture that evolved from Europe, is intended to confuse visitors inside the natural maze chamber and offers fun activities and recreation. The various varieties of flowers being grown in 50,000 pots will be the added attraction to this garden. A maple tree avenue, a separate place for orchids and herbs are the other features.

The Topiary that is seen across the garden is an art of giving shapes such as animals, birds, and other models to thick plants grown in the garden. Cyprus Plants grown in the KSHG are attractively crafted. Since flowers are grown in over 50,000 pots in the greenhouse of the garden, It also holds a winter flower show in the hills.
