Sumitranandan Pant Gallery - History, Timings & Entry Fee

At a distance of 200 m from Kausani Bus Stop and 700 m from Anashakti Ashram, Sumitranandan Pant Gallery is a small museum situated in Kausani, Uttarakhand. It is one of the best places of sightseeing in Kausani.

Sumitranandan Pant Gallery is dedicated to the great Hindi poet Sumitranandan Pant and is also as the birthplace of the legendary poet. The gallery is a place where his poem's manuscript and draft copies of his wonderful literary work are kept. The museum has a vast collection of his daily articles, letters that are written by him as well as received by him. The awards won by him are also kept there.

The museum is a fantastic place for poem lovers who love to recite poem in the lap of the nature. The collection of both Hindi and English book of different authors are kept in glass shelves which attracts readers very much. To celebrate his birth anniversary, every year a poetry discussion is organized in the museum.
