The entry gate to the Central or Kaziranga Range of the Kaziranga National Park is located in Mihimukh area of Kohora town. It lies between Western and Eastern Range which covers the Daglang and Foliomari area. The Central Range safari is the most popular choice of jeep safari and has a well-marked 28 km trail which took about 2hours. The safari offers some spectacular sighting of the grazing Rhinos or wallowing in the large grassland, herds of elephants and many other species of the wild flora and fauna of this tourism zone. Jeep Safari and Elephant Safari are conducted here in the morning and evening during season i.e. from November to April.

The entry gate to the Central Range of the Kaziranga National Park is located at Kohora town. The Central Zone starts from the Mihimukh riding tower, which is also the Elephant Safari starting point. Tourists who have booked for one hour Elephant Safari in to the Kaziranga Range will ride the elephant from this point. Safari ride passes through the Daglang and Foliomari area.

One of the major attractions in the park region, Elephant safari is the perfect way to watch the Kaziranga wildlife from the close quarters. The Elephant Safari permits in the Central Zone can be obtained from the Centenary Convention Center at Kohora in advance. The Bagori Tourism Office is the starting point of this zone from where tourists can take the Jeep safari to the world famous Kaziranga. The Safari in Bagori Range covers Donga Beel and the right bank of Mori Diffalu River. It has a well-marked 26 km trail which took about 2 hours. Unlike Central Range, the Western Range safaris are wilder and take a rather bumpy jeep ride to get to this side of the reserve but it is well worth the trouble. The Jeep Safari in the Bagori zone offers an amazing sighting of the Rhinos, Elephant, Swap Deer and Wild Buffalos along with great variety of birds.

At a distance of 20 km from Kohora Bus Stand, the Eastern Range or Agaratoli Range of the Kaziranga National Park spreads in the eastern side of the park along the National Highway near Agaratoli village. This zone has beautiful landscape with an abundance of wildlife species and lush greenery.

The entry gate to the Eastern Range of the Kaziranga National Park is situated at Agaratoli which is located on the National Highway. The Agaratoli Tourism Office is the starting point of this zone and only Jeep Safari is organized here. The Safari in Agaratoli Range covers Soholabeel, Maklung, Turturani and Dhuba areas of Kaziranga. It has a well-marked 22 km trail which took about 2 hours to complete.
