At a distance of 9.5 km from Library Bus Stand, Jwala Devi Temple is an ancient temple situated on the top of the Benog Tibba at an altitude of 2100 m in Mussorie.

Dedicated to Goddess Durga, this beautiful temple houses a stone idol of the goddess in the inner sanctum. The temple site is surrounded by imposing hills, lush greenery and small streams. Every year, thousands of devotees visit this temple to seek blessings of Goddess Durga.

Besides devotees, the shrine also attracts nature lovers for its beautiful surroundings and pleasant atmosphere. Tourists can have a glimpse of Shivalik range on one side and the lush green Yamuna Valley on the other. The path to the temple, which is densely covered with pine and deodar trees, is an added attraction. There are no shops available near Jwala Devi temple and it's advised to carry drinking water and food.

The Navratra celebrations here are done with much fervor. The path to the temple begins from Cloud's End from where about 2 km walk through thick vegetation of pine and deodar trees lead to Jwala ji Temple.
