Golden Temple – Bylakuppe
Home to magnificent Namdroling Monastery, Bylakuppe is a Tibetan refugee settlement area situated on the Mysore-Coorg route and among the must include in Coorg tourist places. Fondly known as Golden Temple, the Namdroling Monastery was established by Drubwang Padma Norbu Rinpoche in 1963. It is one of the beautiful Buddhist monasteries in India and the second largest Tibetans settlement in India after Dharamshala.

Cauvery Nisargadhama
Formed by the River Cauvery, Nisargadhama is a beautiful island located in Coorg, among the best places to visit in Karnataka. Developed as a tourist spot in 1988 by the Forest Department, the island is accessible through a hanging bridge which is also an ideal destination to spend some quality time with your friends and family.

Harangi Dam
Placed near Hudgur village in Kodagu district, Harangi Dam is the first dam to be built across the River Cauvery and formed by masonry-dam built across the river Harangi, a tributary to Cauvery. With 846 meters long and a height of 47 meters, the dam is one of the popular sightseeing places to visit near Mysore. Known for its natural beauty and soothing atmosphere, the dam attracts huge crowd during the monsoon season when the gates are opened, and the water is released. Besides, there is a small garden and a stone statue of Goddess Cauvery near the dam.
