Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple houses Lord Sangameshwarar with his consort Vedanayaki. Constructed on a 4 acre land, the temple has a 5 tier tower on northern side. During the East India Company regime the then Collector of Coimbatore and Salem Districts, William Garrow, used to worship Goddess Vedanayaki of Bhavani.
