At a distance of 7 km from Dehradun Railway Station, Chandrabani Temple situated on Dehradun - Delhi road is one of the famous pilgrimage sites in Dehradun.

This temple is dedicated to Goddess Chandrabani. It is also known as Gautam Kund and is located amidst the Shivalik Hills. The landscape surrounding the temple is breathtakingly beautiful.

According to ancient mythology, it is believed that the place was the abode of Maharishi Gautama. This temple is also the site of the popular Gautam Kund.

The temple and the pond are thronged by thousands of devotees every year and they take a holy dip in the pond. It is believed that a holy dip in this kund is believed to refresh the body and soul.
