Lacchiwala - History, Timings & Entry Fee

At a distance of 16 km from Dehradun Railway Station and 9 km from Doiwala Railway Station, Lachhiwala is a famous picnic spot that lies along the Rishikesh - Haridwar Road in Uttarakhand.

Surrounded by dense forest, Lachhiwala attracts several nature lovers. It provides a calm and fun serene environment for visitors. Apart from nature views, the main attraction of the area is the huge man-made pools, where people can enjoy swimming. A stream from Suswa River is collected in number of pools here. The lush greenery and fresh unpolluted air make the place an ideal destination for trekking. Besides that, these rich natural forests are home to a number of bird species. The Laxman Siddh Temple is another famous attraction nearby.

Government has set up a guest house for overnight visitors. This place is quite well connected to Dehradun and Haridwar.
