Naina Peak

Naina Peak, also known as China Peak, is the highest peak and one of the top places to visit in Nainital. Situated at an altitude of 2615 m, this mountain peak is widely known for its amazing natural surroundings and the snow-covered mountains all around. Besides, the peak also offers a breathtaking view of the Nanda Devi peak and the mountains on the Tibet border. Due to the high altitude and lush green forest path, Naina Peak is also a favorite place in Nainital for trekking. Also known as Dorthy’s Seat, Tiffin Top is the second highest peak in Nainital after Naina Peak. Situated at an altitude of 2,290 m atop Ayarpatta Hill, it is one of the spectacular viewpoints in Nainital. This place is named after Dorothy Kellet, an English Painter, who used to sit here and paint the beautiful town and its surroundings. Later, the place became a famous picnic spot for the Rajas who ruled this place, and hence it was locally named Tiffin top which denotes packed food consumed during the day. The place offers a panoramic view of the Himalayas as well as the neighboring countryside. The place is best visited during the early morning when sun rays fall and lighten every corner of Nainital, among the top places to visit in Uttarakhand. To reach this point, tourists need to trek for about 4 km from the road point or can take a ride on horse-back. Lover’s Point

Land’s End

Land’s End literally means dead end and this cliff is exactly what means it.
