Auto World Vintage Car Museum was started by Shri Pranlal Bhogilal in the year 1927. Pranlal Bhogilal is an enthusiast of vintage cars and he has converted his private collection of more than 100 exclusive vintage cars into a museum at Dastan Farm. The museum exhibits several of the greatest cars of all types and ages from all over the globe. It is one of the prominent places of sightseeing in Ahmedabad.

The Museum houses some finest cars like Bentley, Rolls Royce, Jaguar, Maybach, Cadillacs, Austin, Chrysler, Lincoln, Fords, and many other varieties from the classic collections of the USA and Europe. Most of the cars are built by renowned coach builders like Hooper, Barker, Gurney-Nutting, Fleetwood, Lebaron, etc. They are all hand-built to the individual specifications of the buyer. There are also some special cars like Limousines & Grand open Tourers for ceremonial occasions, convertible cars for evening drives, and station wagons like boats as well as like a horse-drawn carriage especially built for the family's evening drives in the Dastan estate.

These cars are very well maintained and in perfectly drivable condition. Visitors can even drive one of these beasts by paying Rs. 500 for just a 3.5 km ride. There is also a restaurant that serves authentic Gujarati thali. The museum organizes a vintage car rally every year on a large scale in Jaipur, Mumbai, and Delhi.
