At a distance of 1 Km from Kamalapur Bus Stand, 1.5 Km from Royal Enclosure and 4 Km from Hampi Bus Stand, Octagonal Bath is situated near the Queen's Bath in Hampi. Situated beside the Saraswati temple, it is one of the heritage structures among the ruins of Hampi.

Octagonal Bath is a gigantic bathing area designed in the form of an octagon. It is likely intended as a public bath for visitors to the nearby Chandrasekhara and Saraswati temples. The pavilion features an octagonal shape with a diameter of 80 feet and is situated a few feet below ground level. At the center of the bath shelter is an octagonal platform, surrounded by a pillared veranda. The corridors that encircle this area consist of two rows of pillars, totaling 24 pillars each.

The area between the veranda and the platform serves as the water basin. The basin's molded wall includes an offset in the center, featuring a deep-water channel that is lined with plaster. Each corner of the channel has small circular openings, approximately 5 cm in diameter, which allow water to flow into the basin. Currently, the space between the platform and the veranda is empty of water. To the west of the Octagonal Bath, the remnants of several palaces can be found scattered about.

The Octagonal Bath is located in a somewhat secluded area, approximately one kilometer northeast of the Chandrasekhara Temple. Visitors will encounter a dirt road leading to an improvised thorny gate; they can simply leap over it to reach the Bath.
