At a distance of 10 Kms from Mysore Railway Station & 12.5 Kms from KSRTC Bus Station, Lingabudi Lake located in Sriramapura was built in 1828 by Krishnaraja Wodeyar III. Spread over an area of 260 acres, it is the biggest and the oldest lake of Mysore.

The lake is home to nearly 250 species of birds. The whole place is full of greenery and it is a favorite place of nature lovers. There is also a bio-diversity park here. It is an ideal place for jogging and morning walks. To maintain the quiet atmosphere for migratory birds, boating and other recreational activities are not allowed at the lake.

Timings: 6 AM to 6 PM.
