At a distance of 10 kms from Nampally Railway Station, Peddamma Temple located near Jubilee Hills check post is very famous among 'Bonaalu' celebrating community.

There is no clear evidence about the existence of the temple. Most of the current structure was built in 1993, including the Rajagopuram. This temple is very popular in the twin cities, next to 'Ujjaini Mahakali Temple' Secunderabad.

The word 'Peddamma' means 'Mother of Mothers'. She is one of the 11 forms of Village Deities and The Supreme most. The Temple is a must-visit during the 'Bonaalu' festival which occurs during June-July every year. People offer their prayers and sacrifices to The Mother round the year.
