At a distance of 42 km from Panjim Kadamba Bus Stand, 68 km from Vasco Da Gama Railway Station and 29 km from Mapusa, Keri Beach is the northernmost beach in Goa.

Keri Beach also known as Querim Beach is a quiet beach located to the north of the Arambol Beach. The beach lies at the mouth of the Terekhol River on the southern bank. Across the riverbank one can also see the famous ancient Portuguese fort known as the Terekhol Fort. The fort today is operational as a legacy hotel. There is a ferry service available that takes you to Terekhol every 30 min, except at low tide. The view from the fort is definitely worth a visit.

Querim Beach is dotted with many pine trees. The waters here are clear and the beach is serene and calm. A long strip of sand is interrupted by jagged red rocks and headland on the south side and the Terekhol River to the north. The white sandy beach is one amongst the less crowded beaches of Goa and is a serene and calm place to spend a beautiful holiday.

Sea shore at Keri Beach is dotted with palms trees. One can also enjoy a lot of water sports at the Querim Beach and even go paragliding. The beach however is not safe for swimming and one should avoid swimming near the mouth of the Terekhol estuary.

Some shacks on the beach serve fresh and delicious sea food while you enjoy its beauty and serenity.

Best Time to Visit: October to March.
