At a distance of 8 km from Panjim Kadamba Bus Stand, 20 km from Vasco Da Gama Railway Station and 21 km from Mapusa, Siridao Beach is also known as Shiridon and Xiddona situated in North Goa.

Siridao Beach is a beach with coarse sand that lies at the mouth of the river Zuari. Siridao Beach is popularly known as the beach of Shell Collectors. One can come across a wide variety of oysters and pearl shells at the beach.

The Siridao Beach is a rocky and sandy beach where you can see some mysterious caves. Another attraction is 'The Chapel of Jesus of Nazareth' and is situated atop a hill, right on the Siridao Beach. Thousands of the devotees come to the chapel to pay reverence to Lord Jesus. The first Sunday after Easter is the feast of Jesus of Nazareth at Siridao.

At the entrance of the Siridao village you can see three stone carved statues playing musical instruments with a dog. Here is preserved the testimony of a huge man like creature who once inhabited the place and is locally known as 'Paulist'. Then there is the Holy Souls chapel designed by the renowned Lucio Miranda and was built in the year 1973. This chapel is known for its beautiful architecture.

While taking a dip in the waters of Siridao Beach one should be careful about the rocky areas. There are not many hotels in this area except for a few small shacks. Siridao Beach is frequented in the evenings and weekends.
