At a distance of 49 km from Panjim Kadamba Bus Stand, 40 km from Vasco Da Gama Railway Station and 17 km from Margao Railway Station, Mobor Beach is a beautiful beach located in South Goa.

The Mobor Beach is a beautiful, tranquil and clean beach situated at the south of the Cavelossim Beach. It was practically unheard of till 1980s. Around 1980s, this pristine beach was discovered by the tourists and started gaining popularity. It is a public beach and is amply provided with the beach umbrellas and chairs. It is situated close to the famous Colva Beach. A major factor that attracts the tourists to this place is its serenity and less crowded atmosphere.

This beach is now one of the most happening and popular holiday destinations in Goa and is known to be an ideal location for the adventure tourists. The beach is located close to the mouth of the river Sal. The tourists can enjoy sun bathing on the beach. Dolphin trips and sunset cruises are among the other attractions at the Mobor Beach.

Every year thousands of tourists come to the beach to indulge in water sports. The water sports at Mobor Beach include speed boat rides, Jet Ski, water skiing, banana and bump rides, wind surfing, parasailing and many others. These water sports take place behind the Betty Palace. The best season for water adventures at this beach is from September till March. Biking is very popular in Mobor Beach.

There are a number of restaurants and stalls which offer delicious dishes and snacks from different cuisines. These beachside stalls are excellent places to shop for some souvenirs and gifts to take back home.
